We Have 2 Back to Back Shows on Thursday May 26, 2016.  First Catch Us at the "Beat Battle" in Santa Monica. Put on beatGrade. 7pm-10pm and FREE to get in. The Address is 715 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405. Then on The Same Night Join us at Cuban Pete's Mojito Lounge in Long Beach. Headlining will be the legendary West Coast emcee, Ras Kass. Who Has a new project coming on on July 15, 2016 called "Soul On Ice 2" which is the 20 year celebration to his first official release.   Come to both or either one. Peace&1Love

Detane's God’s Bleed Album Review “The Fight For Hip Hop Continues”

Detane recently released an album entitled “God’s Bleed.”   It’s been a long time coming, but it has arrived and is knocking down doors. After spending some time with the album we are ready to give you a brief overview.   We start by saying it is a very substantial album. One of the few remaining albums that you can almost play all the way through without skipping tracks.  His voice, cadences, beat choice, & song topic quickly solidify him as a professional. Through the sound quality you can definitely tell he has paid his dues and then some. At times the sounds and beats sound a little dated, which actually gives a nostalgic vibe of late ’90’s hip hop.  Those few songs mixed with the fresh vibe of the others come together to collectively create an experience you should definitely check out. The “angels & demons” theme of the album give you a enjoyable paradox to explore.  He has everything form street, socially conscious, politically fueled, ...
